The team at Our House was the perfect addition to our second home in East Hampton. By the time we make it out to the beach Friday night with our three children, the last thing we want to do is fight traffic to get our groceries. Art Village in Southampton, New York, was the campus of the Shinnecock Hills Summer School of Art, founded by American Impressionist painter William Merritt Chase.
Art Village was a campus of studios and dormitories for the school, located at the flat end of Shinnecock Hills, just beyond Southampton Village.
The school closed in 1902, and the buildings were moved and renovated into private homes by some of the students.
