Reviews
100% Customer Satisfaction
The team at Our House was the perfect addition to our second home in East Hampton. My wife and I cannot be at the house all the time and we could not have found better people to take care of it as if it was their own. With Our House managing our property, there are never any surprises when we arrive and we'll never come home to an overflowing mailbox, driveway overgrown with weeds, or packages piled up on our porch. Whether it's turning off our water and plowing the driveway in the snowy winter months or maintaining our immaculate landscaping in the heat of the summer, we always come home knowing the house will be pristine, squeaky clean, and at the perfect temperature for a good night's sleep.
By the time we make it out to the beach Friday night with our three children, the last thing we want to do is fight traffic to get our groceries. Our House stocks the fridge with fresh local produce, grocery items, beverages, and even puts farm-fresh flower arrangements together for us right before we arrive. You name it; they'll have it unpacked, organized, and stocked for you. Let me tell you--it is our new favorite luxury! Their monitoring and maintenance services are equally as fantastic and give us peace of mind while we're away during the week. Our outdoor furniture is uncovered, the pool is clean and heated and we'll always have a full tank of propane to sit back and fully enjoy our summer weekends!

Amagansett derives its name from the Montaukett name for “place of good water” from a water source near what today is Indian Wells beach.
Unlike the rest of the Hamptons, Amagansett was initially settled by the Baker, Conklin, and Barnes families, descendants of English settlers, and the Dutch brothers Abraham and Jacob Schellinger, the sons of a New Amsterdam merchant who moved to East Hampton between 1680 and 1690 after the English took over New Amsterdam.
During Operation Pastorius, a failed Nazi attack on the United States staged in June 1942, during World War II, four German spies were dropped off from a submarine on Atlantic Avenue beach in Amagansett, where they made their way to the village’s Long Island Rail Road station and boarded a train for New York. A Coast Guardsman assigned to watch the beach noticed the suspicious strangers on the beach and notified the police and the FBI.
